Well, I DID become one of the first women in the Fire Service and helped shape the way men and women work together in this critical field.

In my life coaching practice a theme often arises, and the subject of relationships dominates all. However, it has become clear to me that our relationships only reflect our ability to communicate.
Women constantly complain to me that the men in their lives (husbands, bosses, co-workers, fathers and sons) don't communicate. They are incorrect.
I PROMISE YOU, men are communicating constantly and clearly and women are missing it or misinterpreting it. I lived among them for many years and at first was as frustrated as most women. But then I began to see something I had missed before ... a consistency among them regardless of their verbal tongue, culture, age, religion or sexual orientation.
And a new understanding dawned on me. I spent the next twenty years learning and practicing this language, and now I am ready to share my findings with anyone ready to experience love, friendship, appreciation and respect with the men on this planet.
Everything you want to hear is being said. Everything you ask them to
verbalize: how they feel, what they want, how they feel about you, their
dreams and desires--everything!--is being expressed and you must
know the language to hear it.
Otherwise you will only experience frustration, betrayal, anger,
resentment and guilt.
Women who understand the language of men will find all the rewards raining down on them. If you want all the men in your life to love, honor and respect you, YOU must learn this beautiful song.
